DUBUQUE, IA – Each December, we take time to recognize one HODGE team member whose passion, dedication, and leadership have made an impact on the company by awarding them the Ding Bell Service and Loyalty Award. This year, we're congratulating Josh Strong, Industrial Engineer.
In his role as an Industrial Engineer, Josh has been a shining example of the values this award represents. His unwavering commitment to excellence, both in his own work and in uplifting those around him, embodies the very spirit of this honor. Whether it's his relentless pursuit of innovative solutions, his steadfast support for colleagues, or his ability to rise to the occasion when challenges present themselves, Josh has consistently gone above and beyond to move HODGE forward.
Today, we celebrate Josh’s extraordinary contributions, growth, and positive influence on our team, our customers, and our company as a whole. Congratulations, Josh!
Here is what Josh's nominator had to say about his impact at HODGE:
"Josh exemplifies all the qualities we’d expect of a Ding Bell winner. Not only has he dedicated the last several years of his career to doing whatever it takes to move HODGE forward, he has also dedicated the last several years to helping others grow within both their individual roles and the organization. He is a hardworking, caring, and passionate individual who always has the best interests of others at heart.
When I think of Josh, I think of someone who I can depend and rely on to bring forth new ideas and deliver quality solutions. He is a leader and go-getter by nature and isn’t afraid of new challenges. He quickly pivots when roadblocks come up and identifies ways around them, so that deadlines are not missed.
He is always growing his skills. He has really stepped into his current role and not just the day-to-day work of time studies, process evaluations, etc. but as a leader to his peers and as a representative to the customer. Even when previous roles or projects didn’t turn out as expected, he never let them create a setback. Instead, he searched for the opportunities they provided for growth and development and then made it his mission to become better. With each year, his level of personal growth becomes greater than the last. If that is not discipline and perseverance, I don’t know what is.
Here are just a few things his peers say about him, ‘He is the definition of a team player. He is constantly engaging with teams across both HODGE and our customer to bring forth the best possible solutions. He is always willing to help anyone that asks for it. He is energetic, engaged, committed, supportive, and forward-thinking. He works hard to make the customer experience with HODGE better. He is well-liked and respected by his peers both within HODGE and the customer.'”
Josh was nominated for this award by a colleague on the Operational Excellence team as well as a fellow team member in Kernersville. He was chosen as this year's recipient by the Ding Bell Service & Loyalty Award Committee. The committee is comprised of one representative from each HODGE location and business unit and includes previous winners of the Ding Bell Service & Loyalty Award.
